Hornady XTP Hollow point Pistol bullets

Hornady bullets are manufactured to the highest, most demanding tolerances in the industry. XTP (eXtreme Terminal Performance) bullets are the perfect combination of superior accuracy and pure stopping power. Precise folds in the no-lead-exposed hollow point strategically weaken the jacket for reliable, uniform expansion at extremely low and high velocities alike. They hold together, expand properly and provide the deep penetration you need for any shooting situation. On impact, the copper jacket begins to fold back behind the leading edge of the expanded lead core. The bullet continues to fold back on itself in the classic mushroom shape, and it meets increasing resistance from the growing thickness of the copper jacket. The thickened base prevents over-expansion and separation even at high velocities.
